This shows the thumb stud modification to the large standard #Victorinox blade. I had to drill a hole with a #carbide drill and use a #countersink because I had to get the bolt head to fit flush with the blade. One washer, one split washer, and threadlocker will hold the thumbstud on.

My go-to bit is the Amana Tool 55227 countersink with adjustable drill bit depth stop. I have used this bit for years and love it.
