Southern Pacific (SP) 2682 was the sole power on the Crockett Rocket, heading west near Crockett, CA, sometime in May 1977. This is one of many scans I am revisiting with new tools and methods to obtain better results. Please do not edit, crop, "correct" or "improve" my photos without permission from me. SP 2682 was an SW1500, SP Class ES415-6. Reportedly: it was built in 1973, serial number 4608-40. Disposition: reportedly, it became UP 1227, then UPY 1227, then NREX 1227.
