Escapist gym log: my son spotted me on bench for the first time this morning. The moment I realized he actually _can_ spot me* was a weird, proud moment.

Escapist gym log: did #CrossFit Andi for the first time this morning. (100 each of hang power snatch, push press, sumo deadlift high pull, front squats. Rx weight 45lb, I used 35.) It was… fine? Haven’t really decided how I felt about it, but hey, done is done. #crossfitmasters
Escapist gym log: just completed our latest 10-week strength cycle (front squat, push press, cleans) and PRed handily in every lift. I’m well into my 50s, I’m the strongest I’ve ever been, I’m still getting stronger, and I’m grateful for every bit of it. #crossfit #crossfitmasters #weightlifting
