it's been my interpretation since last chapter.... that Denji died, for real.
Yoru is perceiving that somehow nukes magically reappeared... while directly seeing the Pochita heart stabbed.
Luckily, thanks to lil Deathy, death isnt the end just yet 😁💀

Are we all forgetting that Denji literally shredded his brain with his own chainsaws in the middle of a previous fight with Falling Devil & was fine. I'm pretty sure a sloppy lobotomy isn't the end of Asa/Yoru.

We need to understand how crazy it is that Yoru backtracked on turning Denji into a weapon, even with his consent. Its also worrying how the story seems to be validating both their feelings towards Denji so i feel this inevitably move towards a “choice”.

Yoru caring about Denji is worrisome.... as her powerscaling of weapons is dependent on her genuine guilt of converting them.
However, Yoru has always been blocked against turning Denji into a weapon. Presumably by Pochita...
... and remember Death's promise to Asa.
Also wanna say. Falling cornering them again is really good framed by Fakesaw's death. Last time Fakesaw bailed them out but now they no longer have that option, Denji and Asa need to get themselves out of this situation on their own. #csm208

With her endangering of herself and denji's idea of self atonement they're both trying to fight back against the world's apathy but in ways that only endanger themselves and others to little lasting effect. (If Yoru actually cared about tank as her kid this applies to her too lol) #csm208 3/3
Asa never really was in the same haze denji was in I don'tthink but had to lie to herself that she was to cope with the situation she was forced into but is trying to fight back by recklessly throwing herself into danger to save her only comfort in these times despite how he treated her. #csm208 2/3
I do think this was a really good chapter to look into where these characters properly are rn! I do think yoru's decision was genuine albeit framed in an impulsive way (as it happens with yoru lol). Denji has broken out of his apathetic haze and it's all catching up to him at once. #csm208 1/3
