Here is a family picture of Hairy Cup Fungus ( Cookeina sp. ) is a genus of cup fungi in the family Sarcoscyphaceae that I found in Sumatra. I like the color and shapes of this fungus, which looks like a carnivorous plant.

Photo is a close-up of some small, buff-coloured cup fungus. They look slightly translucent and jellyish. There are lots of clumps of them dotted across dark soil, interspersed with bright green moss.
Gratifying to know the compost in my broad bean bed is so good - I discovered it has grown a prolific crop of cup fungus!
