#D2LFusion Keynote - Honestly, I'm really down on AI - for a number of reasons. I think you can pick off a number of reasons and all of them are quite good. D2L has at least thought of those and tried to put safeguards in. The environmental impact is still huge. I'm not sold.
So, I usually go to #D2LFusion - it's one EdTech thing a year that I can easily get work to pay for (it's literally my job to work with Brightspace). I'm disappointed to be choosing to miss it based on the location this year. Doubly so, sad to miss @barrydahl.bsky.social 's social gathering.
I also am looking for the backchannel. I think the adoption of bluesky is so low you have to use #D2LFusion and not expect much. ;)
Createspace is what I've been waiting for. Can't wait to try it out. #D2LFusion

I haven’t had as much time to prepare for #d2lfusion this year so I’m trying to figure out sessions for tomorrow and am overwhelmed by the amazing options.
Lots of D2L swag items, several D2L moose, water bottles, the original D2L molecule and more
I'm keeping a few pieces, but I'm bringing a whole bunch of this D2L swag to #D2LFusion to give away to old friends and some new ones, too.
Some pieces are vintage (like me) and others are newer. A few different logo designs in the mix.
Retiring at the end of Fusion is bittersweet (like me).
