Op de Da Costakade in Amsterdam dreigde grootschalige bomenkap en verplaatsing van woonboten vanwege noodzakelijke kademuurvernieuwing. Dankzij vasthoudend bewonersprotest en een innovatief haalbaarheidsonderzoek lijkt het tij te keren.
