“Unless you want him to stay for real.” Rui blushed and looked at Noel with an expression that could be translated as W-WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?! “If he would like to stay for real he will always be welcome” Daisuke chuckled, possibly not realizing what Noel meant at all. Then, Rui looked at Daisuke in shock and turned into a living tomato with purple hair and an eyepatch -- Translation: WA-WA-WAIT YOU REALLY… REALLY MEAN IT?! “What’s wrong, Rui?” V-mon looked at him, cluelessly as Daisuke, “Are you ok?” “I… I’m fine…!” he blurted it out, shaking his head, “I’m fine, d-don’t worry!!” and laughed extremely nervously “Did I say something wrong?” And Daisuke frowned. “Nonononononono you didn’t…!!” Takeru shook his head in silence… But Noel was chuckling quietly, that was indeed entertaining for him.
Noel just loves to play cupid and at this point is just doing it for fun and to help Rui in the romance department.

I like to think they became really close to some extent (maybe even dating...?) but Rui is still wary about people touching him.
Yet Daisuke is the only one he allows get THIS close to him. And he doesn't want those Daisuke hugs to end lol.
