The dakini vajrayogini, a Tibetan Buddhist feminine manifestation of enlightenment, dances against a red background in a blazing circle of flames wearing nothing but jewellery on her arms, feet and head. Her lack of clothing is not meant to be sexual but rather signifies the shedding of worldly concerns, ego and illusions. She stands exuding an aura of power on a sun-disk lotus seat which seems to hover over the water. Visualised in the form of a 16-year-old with green skin and a third eye of wisdom vertically on her forehead, her mouth is slightly-parted as she prepares to drink the contents of the blood-filled cup. Her face shows both erotic and fierce features. She holds her signature skullcap in her left hand to symbolise her experience of supreme bliss and a vajra-handled curved flaying knife in her right to cut the delusions and obstacles of her followers, and a spear balances perfectly on her left shoulder. Looking upward to show her attainment of outer and inner Pure Dākiṇī Land, she indicates that she leads her followers overhead to these attainments. Often known as a tantric sky-dancer, she moves fearlessly through illusion and brings sharp, clear insight.

After the sailing ship #Nadir @resqship.bsky.social had already been forced to stay in port for over two weeks, the ships #Aurora @en.sea-watch.org and #Dakini were also detained yesterday. Together, they rescued 70 people in distress at sea last week – and are now being detained for 20 days. 2/4
