A big pair of vintage 1950s 60s signed handmade sterling silver and black enamel modernist fish design cufflinks by Meka of Denmark. Meka Reklamegaver was a Danish silversmith company that operated from 1951 to 1989 in Holte, north of Copenhagen. They were known for their jewelry and enamelware items, such as spoons, bowls, and salt and pepper shakers, that incorporated sterling components and colorful enamel. Ib Bluitgen worked in Georg Jensen's design department before starting his own studio and designs for Meka. A beautiful modernist 'fish' design pair of cufflinks in solid sterling silver with black enamel sections at front as shown. Each measures 1" across by 5/8" tall, and the pair weigh just over 12 grams total. Marked on the swivelbacks as shown, "Meka Sterling Denmark". Excellent vintage condition.

a HUGE vintage 1950s 60s handmade hammered sterling silver modernist two-piece pendant on neckring necklace by the firm of Hermann Siersbol of Kastrup, Denmark. Lovely effect of the fine hammering this piece is that when the light plays across the surface it resembles light on water! Siersbol opened his workshop in 1945 and ran his business until his death in 1964, after which his children took over the business. He was well-known for his quality of both design and craftsmanship, and this necklace is an outstanding example! The very large two-piece pendant measures 4-3/8" long by 1-3/8" wide and hangs on an approximately 17" (closed) neckring, that of course can be worn open for larger necks, and the entire necklace weighs 41.4 grams total. Marked on both the bail of the pendant and the neckring, "HS" maker mark for Hermann Siersbol, and "925S" for sterling silver. Excellent vintage condition.

a BIG vintage 1960s 70s handmade 830 silver geometric modernist pendant on chain necklace by Sorensen Ehlers of Holte, Denmark. An entirely handmade and quite striking modernist design by this talented mid-century Danish modernist silversmith! The pendant measures 2-1/2" by 1-1/2" wide, and with the 26" sterling chain it weighs 16 grams total. The pendant is marked "830 SE" as shown, and the chain is marked "925 Milor Made in Italy". Excellent vintage condition
