Mono Neutral-types don't have Weaknesses or Resistances, they are the true Neutral. Neutral-type attacks also don't hit any Datafighters for their Weakness or Resistances, making them a pretty good coverage option on most Datafighters that want to hit hard
Datafighters with both the Neutral-type and another Type only have 1 Weakness and Resistance. I'm thinking about adding some sort of held item that can make a partial Neutral-type into just a Mono Neutral-type, removing that Datafighter's Weakness and Resistance
Mono-typed Datafighters that aren't Neutral-type have 2 Weaknesses and Resistances. As you can see here when a Datafighter evolves, sometimes their Weaknesses/Resistances change, either for biology or balancing reasons
Dual-typed Datafighters that aren't part Neutral-type have 3 Weaknesses and Resistances. The Weaknesses/Resistances are going to be distributed mostly for balancing reasoning, but I still want to try to give them a fair reasoning for why that type is strong against/resisted. For Farmire, its Weaknesses are things that could damage/pollute the soil in crops, while its Resists are things that help plants grow
For my Mon-Tamer, Datafighters, I want to go with an SMT/Persona-styled Weakness/Resist system. I feel like it would make each Datafighter more unique from each other
