Morning sun nearly silhouettes over a dozen cows and calves scattered across a low grazed pasture, mostly red or black, some with white face and/or other markings. The grass is mostly dry, made lighter by morning frost. Farther back to the left is mixed woods, mostly poplar with some bits still green, mostly gold to near orange. The line of trees diminishes into the distance moving right. Sky is mostly clear, pale blue with a bit of jet trail to the right.

From the car, looking across a wire and post fence then a wetland pasture of perhaps waist high dry grass with the heads of cattails showint in patches where the wettest areas must be. Farther back is a field with scattered round hay bales, then a farm yard. We can see the top half of a red barn (the buildings are just slightly lower than the foreground, where the land must slope down a bit) and mostly the silvery rooves of a number of long low buildings, just a bit of the house to the right among a handful of tall dark spruce trees. Beyond the farm the land drops away and we can just see a mix of autumn coloured trees and areas of dark conifers stretching away to the foothills. Craggy mountains rise on the horizon, hazy and snow accented on the highest peaks. The sky above the mountains is covered with clouds barely darker than the pale blue sky above, they end with narrow lines of broken clouds.

View through a post and wire fence across a nearly smooth snowy pasture. Midway across the view, a wooden rail fence marks the beginning of part of a farm yard with some round bales stacked, a row of almost evenly spaced snow and frost highlighted young spruce trees with poplar trees farther back, white with frost. Farther still the land slopes downward allowing glimpses of a view of forest stretching away to distant blue foothills, and rows of mountains beyond. The farthest mountains are tallest, with craggy snow covered peaks catching morning sun against a blue sky with a few slightly pink clouds.

A darkish grey highway is lightly touched with frost/snow between the main tracks. Not far from the viewpoint, the highway drops down a hill, with two vehicles with headlights on cresting the hill coming toward the viewer- the view is in the shadow of large snow coated spruce trees on both sides, and lightly overcast sky behind the viewer. Down the hill is a wetland area with snowy pasture to one side, and low willow woodland to the other, farther on both sides are forested with stretches of frost white deciduous trees giving way to darker mixed/spruce woods stretching into the distance. On the horizon the mountains are just visible with blue front ranges miraged up and craggy snow caps farther behind almost blending into the slight pink haze above in the clear pale morning sky.

A frosted stretch of highway with scattered vehicles casting shadows all the way across the road in the low morning winter sun. Fenced pastures give way to areas of wetland willows and mixed woodland, all variably coated in frozen fog in front of a nearly clear blue sky.
