My walk today took me to Brooklyn’s Pier Six, which sits directly across the East River from downtown Manhattan. I had hoped to catch the sunrise, but alas arrived too early. Only the tiniest hints of pink lay across the horizon; not nearly enough to light up that famous skyline. Still, I have seen this dazzling display enough to revisit it in my memory and craft the following. The sun reflected Towers of concrete and steel Dawn on Manhattan So with something appropriately urban and laidback funky, here’s some more (US) morning mellow.
