This weekend was an unwritten Blues. My wife is sick, our car was broken into, and a nor’easter has brought down wind and rain on Brooklyn, stripping trees of their leaves and even branches. As I sit here in the semi-dark whilst the skies glower outside and Susan sleeps, it seems only appropriate to lean into the feeling. To take hold of something and examine it helps you understand it, which in turn helps you banish it.
