in lighter news, dereals still going well! work slowed down a bit cuz of the holidays, but im getting back on track soon. hopefully i can get something screenshot worthy soon.

im gonna focus on the first paid release (levels 0-12). there may be a demo in the future still, but for now i want to focus on 0-12. theres still a lot i have to get done. remember, im doing all of dereal on my own, so thisll take a while. just let me continue to cook

im beginning to rethink the publishing part of dereal
currently, levels 0-4 are mostly done (still need some touch ups here and there) but im left unsatisfied with it. im starting to think a demo might not be worth it since the demo wldnt rly represent the full game

they updated it. the updated version is more detailed and, most unfortunately, cool.

which means i have to update level 1 on my end.

due to the levels all being very big (and ambient lighting not looking good at all) i have discovered a method im calling grid lighting where i place a light on every grid space on the map and just delete the ones i dont need

this is extremely unnecessary but it works
