I think the acceptance on both The OG conspiracy theorists and the newer #qanon kind, along with the likes of #doomsdaypreppers, #militias, groups like the #proudboys and #libertarianism has to do with the rise of (the rather unstable) #crypto in the promise of #dereugulation.
