I never got around to sharing the designs I didn't submit for the competition. They were all half baked, but I've cleaned them up so you get an idea of the thought process over those two days that led to Cactus Man's design.

Leaf Woman, a forest themed robot master with a leaf blower on her arm and long green hair meant to look like foliage. Leaf Woman has been created for ecosystem preservation. Because of that, she values the wildlife, being animals or plants. She's quite agile, and tends to use her long arm as a vine to swong from tree to tree. She's quite proud of her long green hair. She usually washes it under a waterfall, before drying it with her vacuum arm. GOOD POINT: chill and easygoing BAD POINT: takes nothing seriously LIKES: taking naps in the wild DISLIKES: smoke
Diesel Man, a gas station and biker themed robot master with wheels on his feet, a fuel tank on the back, a counter on the torso and a pompadour shaped helmet with a lightbulb. Diesel Man is a robot created for managing and delivering fuel. However, due to the slow transition towards renewable energy and the increasing scarcity of fossil fuels, he started to feel more and more useless. Thanks to the wheels attached to his feet, Diesel Man can run faster than any motorbike, delivering fuel in no time. GOOD POINT: parsimonious BAD POINT: noisy and irritable LIKES: old school vehicles DISLIKES: price inflation

Since I didn't win the #MegaManDO #DesignARobotMaster contest, here are my designs.
A reference sheet for a ice cream themed Robot Master named Sundae Woman. Her clothes were inspired by diner waitresses and ice cream parlor uniforms! She has an ice cream cone suction arm (called the Scooper Sucker) for her right one, and has a square shaped ice cream maker on her back. Note for the Ice Cream Maker: Ice cream maker on her back! Once she sucks in anything cold with her Scooper Sucker, the machine turns into ice cream! Note for small doodle: Sundae Woman loves making ice cream! She was built from an old ice cream maker to create unique flavors. She wishes that all robots can enjoy ice cream.

Bug Man was built for insect collecting and preservation, assisting entomologists in their research. He stores insects inside his body for safekeeping, and can detach himself to fly around. Good point - Observant Bad point - Arachnophobic Likes - Bright colors Dislikes - Really long legs Bug Catcher: During flight mode, Bug Man can catch Mega Man and carry him into dangerous spots. Vacuum Attack: Inhales a swarm of insects for Mega Man to dodge. Bug Swarm: Unleashes a swarm of flying bugs that drags Mega Man upwards. Other types of bugs can affect the player differently. Top half of body can detach and fly around. Bottom half will run around and release projectiles. Tongue Stab: Curl on the forehead acts as a proboscis and can attack the player from a distance. Player Weapon: Bug Bridge - Inhale enemies to unleash a bridge you can ride on. The art also features a front view, a back view, an 8-bit sprite, a side view of his buster, several illustrations of different facial expressions, and a proper illustration of his flight form.
I'm a bit late, but here's my submission for Mega Man: Dual Override's robot master design contest! Even if he didn't win, I still had a lot of fun designing him.

My oc Maple Woman which wasn’t accepted for Capcom’s robot master contest. She is a dark skinned woman that wears a red cape which resembles a maple leaf, has oak armour similar to Wood Man with a long extendable arm with syrup at the end.
Even tho my design didn’t make it, happy for everyone’s designs that got pick! A lot of them were so cool!
