Want to have a better DFL caucus experience tonight? TL:DR- Become caucus chair and stick to the rules. 1. Nominate yourself for caucus chair to run the meeting. 2. If contested, your speech should be that you respect everyone's time and your focus is keeping things quick. You have 60 seconds, only use 30. 3. Keep visitors to their 2 minute speaking time 4. Before considering resolutions, remind people that nitpicking language is unnecessary at this stage since these will be combined and rewritten at future DFL events. 5. Keep resolutions discussion to 3 speaking for and 3 speaking against, 1 minute each. 6. Start delegate voting as early as possible, and use breaks when counting votes for other items.
