Melony Klein does a frontside grind on a concrete obstacle called 'The Thing' at the Brickside DIY. The sun is setting in the background. This was the first evening The Thing got fully sessioned. The person who built the obstacle was also taking the pictures and hyping everyone up to skate the thing. Good vibes, the stuff that memories are made of. No DIY skatepark ever lasts, so make it count while it's there.

I doubt I'll ever get a Thrasher cover but I'm stoked/honoured to have a full bleed double spread in this zine celebrating the now destroyed Brickside DIY space in Sheffield.
