Here's the oak gall paste, wetted with water it turns black immediately, but the recipe says give it a week.
Oak Gall #Ink is ancient, dating back to Pliny the Elder in Greece. While hiking I found some Oak Gall apples and thought to try out the Oak Gall Ink recipe I have seen in the Kremer Pigments traditional inks pamphlet. Here's a few photos, the recipe takes a week to mature. #DIYink
