What is the U.S. Institute of Peace and why is Trump trying to shut it down? Founded during the Cold War to project American soft power and foreign policy expertise, the federally funded nonprofit think tank is now in the White House's crosshairs.

I don't see this story getting much coverage. DOGE forced their way into the independent, nonprofit, National Institute for Peace, causing a standoff w/police and USIP employees. DOGE is using these Nazi tactics all over DC Metro and the country! #DOGEMustBeStopped
