Sketchbook 4 of 5 from 2025. 37th EVEEERRRR. This one feels like Im more in my essence. #sketchbook #figuredrawing #doggydrawings #sketchbooktour

Page 16
Wowie hey hi been a while; here's Cassandra's first weapon(s)
I don't really care to draw the sword twice lmao
Also my lightest gray pen has like completely run out of juice úwù
#doggydrawings
Page 15
That's Yun-seong's weapons done! And... Yeah, his ultimate weapon literally has an invisible blade, and his joke weapon is so unembellished I figured I might as well do two pages in one day
So that's 30/200 weapons done so far >:3
#doggydrawings
Page 14
Was afraid to use my coloured pens because they're cheap and tend to bleed a lot but I had no other option for the finer details on Ramdao and the result is pretty good regardless! I'll definitely use them more in the future
#doggydrawings
Page 13
First one of these in a while 'cause I've been sick =w=
If I had perfect precision with my markers I'd wanna try to do Cheng Ying's "blade" lineless because it resembles glass shards, with some tips being more opaque (here represented by slightly darker colouring)
#doggydrawings
Page 12
Fun fact: A Khanjar is actually a dagger but in SC2 it's represented as a sword
As for Xiao Lian, I figured I'd try partially lineless because the blade is supposed to glow, but I think this would look a lot better if I had a way of making completely flat colours

Page 11
Yun-seong's weapons aren't (mostly) crazy ornate like Talim's are and they don't come in pairs either so this only took me like 50 minutes lmao
White Storm's hilt is too long and the blade could be thicker but I'm pretty happy with how its guard came out!
#doggydrawings
Page 10
That's Talim's weapons! Got a little lazy with Soul Calibur and only after did I realize it's meant to be a single weapon that was split in half so she could have one piece in each hand
This is the fastest page of Talim's I've done though because Weight is incredibly geometric
#doggydrawings
Page 9
Second last for Talim
These are kinda funny because they're both asymmetrical, so the increased range from the weapon only applies to the odd one out lmao
#doggydrawings
Page 8
Got the name of Double Crescent wrong and only realized after I'd written it down, despite the name being right there in the file name lmao
#doggydrawings
Page 7
Relatively simple shapes! Side Harpe is pretty ornate and I don't really have the sort of pens that I think would be great to do such fine details so... A little lacking in that department for now úwù
#doggydrawings
Page 6
Onto Talim and
They are so, SO ornate; I won't be able to fit every detail of these so I'm simplifying where I feel I can get away with it
#doggydrawings
Page 5, and that's Raphael's weapons done!
I'm forgoing Soul Edge for most of these; every character has 11 weapons and there's 20-something characters in the HD version of the game (no Link, sorry not sorry) so I'm doing 20x10 total
#doggydrawings
Page 4
Very pleased with Holy Antler's blade shape overall aside from the bit on the right side near the tip where it widens
It's a little misaligned from the center too but overall I think it looks pretty good!
#doggydrawings
Page 3
Random bullshit go'd a bit: Schweitzer's basket is supposed to be filigreed, and the symbol beneath the guard of the Wo Dao was indecipherable so I just put some kana there instead
Dimensions are all over the place; Wo Dao looks more like a dagger and Schweitzer's shape is off
#doggydrawings
Page 2
Big discrepancy in the Reiterpallasch guard because I didn't think to use the front view as a reference for drawing the side view, but I'll keep that in mind next time I draw the same thing from different angles!
Love my white gel pen because I can colour without layering :3

My neuron that speaks like Queen Deltarune: You Should Draw (Almost) Every Weapon From Soul Calibur 2
Me: Why
Synapse: Seems Cool
So uh yeah, here's page 1 starting with Raphael
I think I wanna get a little bit more serious with my art so I think I'm gonna start tagging my stuff with #doggydrawings
