Back with a sofa bed update. The frame has been completed, the leather upholstery, is all but complete. I just need to find beads I like for buttons on the cushions.

Four different test pieces for a single segment of a planned mini oil radiator. Off in the top corner you can spy a partial sketch of the planned piece.
This week's WIP was more of a test and failure of the mini oil radiators that adorn Harry's room. Using a mixture of bamboo paddle pop sticks, plaplate and card stock. I couldn't replicate the puffy metal depth reminiscent of those radiators. #WIP #miniatures #ミニアチャ #diorama #ジオラマ #dollhaus

The hall tree was one of the weirder and interesting builds. Using a technique I've used previously for curved pipe, where I use Evergreen polystyrene tubing with wire run through it. Using hot water to help soften the tube to aid bending.

A miniaturised stereo system sits on a wooden block within a diorama. The stereo system is made up of a tape player nestled within a suitcase-like container. Two speakers are metallic grey, thin, tall and rectangular.
The miniature tape player sits on a miniature credenza; a paper mock of the speaker sits beside it to size up the space.
The finished miniature stereo system is set up on the credenza. The portable tape player sits in the middle of the player. Left of it is one of the tall tin speakers, purposely not straight to the cabinet. The second speaker is lying on its back on the floor of the diorama leaning on the credenza.
This week's update I'm going to focus on completing the tape player and speakers.
Though I like the chunky style of my speakers I might try to make a slimmer version.

I am making progress on the tiles, I’m glad that I decided to make individual tiles but boy is it a slow process. Honestly, can’t wait to move onto furniture.
