I love #Dororo, but I'm not the biggest fan of adaptations making Dororo the one responsible for "healing" and "nurtutring" Hyakkimaru.
Both characters originally start off very rude and selfish, because they are both KIDS surviving in one of the worst times to be alive in feudal Japan.

Thinking about how in most cases Tahomaru and Nui no Kata's relationship in #Dororo is a pretty good example of how, a nonviolent or even good hearted person can still be a bad parent.
Yeah, Nui's situation is tragic, but doesn't make her neglect of Tahomaru any less bad.

They're just always furrowed to the point where they look like one big brow.
