Columbia clashes with Kyrie in an empty space lit only by the sunlight overhead. Her spear deflected by Kyrie's counter, Kyrie grabs Columbia's face and forces her to lock eyes. In the span between seconds, Kyrie taunts the lone holy knight of Voeburt: "You remind me of a flower - perhaps you know it. Edelweiss, a symbol of endurance. Resistance. But as you are, you show none of this. Let us try this again. If you cannot strike me down, a rogue who has stolen the arts of other knights like you, then can you call yourself a worthy heritor of your father's skill?"
A slightly different angle. The two women couldn't be any more different: Columbia, a knight born and trained in the line of holy dragoons and Kyrie, a daughter of wild warriors and of no allegiance to any crown or country. And yet, Columbia finds herself losing to this roaming free radical who has only ever wielded the dragoon arts in order to better defeat them.
