A painting of the Dover Demon, an alleged cryptid or alien reported around Dover, Massachusetts in 1977. Its physical appearance as depicted here in this painting, with rough, fleshy skin and orange eyes, is based on a description given by a member of the first group of eyewitnesses, Bill Bartlett. Later sightings described the creature with skin that is more smooth and gray and with green eyes.
