I was not prepared to see #Dracurouge come up here, but I've seen a handful of posts about it over the past week and it has rekindled my long standing obsession with the game. Finding out that one of the translation projects was basically complete was a huge bonus.

DracuRouge attempts to invoke the feel of the theatre. The narrative is told via acts, which are divided by scenes (social and combat). Ultimately it all culminates to a Final Act, whereupon, regardless of victory or defeat the curtains are drawn.

Big thanks to @justjarn.bsky.social for allowing me to try the roleplaying game from Japan: #Dracurouge. It was a great time! Lots of drama and action starring strong and capable characters. The game really transformed the afternoon into a stage with the players and GM being actors and performers.
