A centenarian Cape Verdean dragon tree Dracaena caboverdeana. This critically endangered species is emblematic of the Cape Verde archipelago, but this one has been growing in an old, forgotten garden in Lisbon since the nineteenth century.

This #DragonTree was also rescued from the daughters window sill 1 year ago as a spindly little plant with few straggly & mostly yellow leaves. It's now 3ft tall & after a dodgy repotting last summer has picked up & is growing well 🥰
