Just finished #DragonQuest1 ^^

It really is charming in its simplicity.

And the ending is GOOOOOD!

Random battles = gone.
All swamps changed into flowers.
You can find every NPC celebrating.
Credits don't roll until you visit the king.

Wish more games let you explore the saved world like this.

I think it's time to play Dragon Quest 1. Maybe 2+3 too. But not the HD remakes. The GBC versions.

The music in these games is so friggin good considering the limitations. And I'd like to study it for my own game.

However, I'll be playing with some caveats...

#dragonquest1 done now (beaten in a day I know lol).

I kinda just... Put it on invincibility/easy mode cause around 25% in, it just kinda felt like I was doing a repeat of 3, which in a way you are, and just wanted it done at that point.

Decided not to do DQ2 yet. I have DQ7 ordered to play next.

Could that fall be more dramatic. Lol

Following up beating Dragon Quest 2 with 1. This is probably the most powerful hero in the entire series just for the factor he soloed his entire game and didn’t get any help. This game is much shorter than 2 took me about 12 hours. Fun fact if you join the villain you get builders 1.
