I dried horseweed that came up in my backyard for some tea. It has a peppery taste to it. Great medicinal plant native to the US. Everyone just thinks it's a weed.

Super yummy weeds that pop up in my yard in the spring: Lesser Swine-cress (part of the mustard family) & Common Chickweed. LSC tastes like Wasabi when eaten raw ❤️ when it's sauted it mellows a bit but its yummy flavor remains. When these "weeds" pop up in my garden, I let them grow. #eatweeds
