whelp, lastnight I now know that the re-flashed Radeon 9700 for PowerMac G4 I brought from ebay ~10 years ago is actually Radeon 9500...

I tried to change the card ROM to 128KB chip and flash modded Radeon 9700 firmware on it and it didn't boot.

I hope that seller has their account suspended at the very least. I wish there was a way to alert Amazon so their Amazon account would also be affected.

I also reported that seller but not sure if what they are doing violates eBay policy. If I wanted to order from Amazon I would have just done that.
