An anonymous user asks: I would love to hear what the general premise of the echo glass story is !!! I really love missingno and it’s so fun seeing people making a story that involve them so heavily, haha!!!! Really interesting stuff so far!!! The tumblr blog echoglass-fiction answers: Heya anon, thanks for the ask! It makes me really happy to see you're enjoying it!! Echoglass is pretty much just a lot of stories taking place in and revisiting the mainline games! So surprisingly, despite the heavy pokémon focus, it is not PMD. I just like exploring the pokémon perspective more LOL (I don't mind people tagging it as such though!) It's important to know that this is a shared universe between three people - though I, Zenala, am the only one posting here. We take turns claiming and developing legendary pokémon and individual parts of the story since the pokémon universe is so big :D for example, I have Giratina and one of my friends has Palkia; I explore Team Rocket, one of them explores Paldea's main storyline, the other explores Galar's storyline, etc. We do talk about it and connect everything together in the end, though!
A continuation of the previous image. My favorite things to do are revisiting the canon events and pokedex entries (like Giratina being banished or the burning of the Johto tower) with my own interpretation, but I am a huge sucker for stories of just little guys not relevant to the big scale of things going through personal growth. Dezzle's storyline predates Echoglass's creation, for example. The Missingnos as you mentioned are a very fun piece of the worldbuilding to me. I love glitches in videogames and originally we were only going to have one Missingno: the Mew one. She is very relevant to one of our human stories. But we ended up connecting it to some other worldbuilding pieces and making it a category of pokémon in the end, and now I have 4 myself BAHAHA they are indeed quite relevant to the big scale lore! Once again, thank you for the interest! I gotta start working on some information pieces eventually :) I really wanna show the audience how the Missingnos work!
