We’re proud to have hosted over 430 world-leading delegates at #EDUCON2025, who explored trends in engineering education, shared research and built collaborations.

Guess how many birds have pooed on me at #EduCon2025. This has in no way diminished my enjoyment of the event and will furnish my anecdotes repository quite nicely :)

A pull-up banner welcoming our delegates and letting them know that the 2025 theme is "Sustaining educational excellence in engineering - generative AI in enhancing critical thinking and active learning".

A mildly arty shot of the wooden floor in the anteroom to the Octagon at QMUL which has our Q logo inlaid in a lighter coloured wood. On top of it is a suitcase which has transported some of the stuff we need to put signs up and make sure no-one gets lost. There are also boxes of magazines to give out and some pull-up banners waiting to be unpacked and set up.

This is a large A2 posterboard in blue with the Educon 2025 colouring and logo branding etc and an A4 polypocket attached. There are several A4 pieces of paper in it and the first announces the next event in that room. Here is't room GC202 and the first event there is at 1pm and it will be a Workshop on "An engineering course through remote experimentation - an introduction to electric and electronic circuits." Once that event has finished the bit of paper is discarded and the one behind it says what the next event will be. These are positioned on a small easel outside the room. Very efficient.
