I think Yahsre described it pretty well once... #ellielore
The smile she gets when she kills, that quiet thrill of taking a life just for herself. Elanor has trained to hide it, pushing so hard for neutral that she looped back into creepy anyway. Even now, the Scions still keep their distance when she’s fighting. #ellielore
Oh no, it’s the other way around. Elanor couldn’t cook to save her life. She’s more than happy to help forage the ingredients for them, but if she’s holding a pot everyone knows it’s only because she couldn’t find her sword and someone’s about to get a cookware-shaped concussion. 💀 #ellielore
Elanor likes high places. As a kid, mostly trees, but anything high enough was fine. She liked the feeling of her feet dangling into the void. Still climbs sometimes when she knows no one’s watching 😌 #ellielore
She offers animals basic respect so long as they have not harmed her. She is not the pet type and does not seek to bond with one. Growing up in Gridania means she will not generally kill one for sport or profit, but beyond necessity they remain wildlife to her, not companions. #ellielore
- grind your way to the top
- take his seat
- make him answer to you
- never let him forget it
(pre-dt screen) #ellielore
well she'd swear she doesn't...
... But historically her partners have been either:
• marked for death by the narrative
• emotionally wrecked by the dystopian nightmare they were born into just as she was
So like. Not a type. Just… recurring themes. Totally different. Absolutely. #ellielore
every song in their playlists have at least one line that is 100% them but here's some old faves #ellielore
Elanor is private, but not shy. She simply sees personal details as leverage someone could use, so she shares sparingly. Ask her something intimate and she will answer honestly, but always in broad strokes. #ellielore
I HC that Elanor fights with Fray as her allowed soul already (it’s more of a tag team, really). They do have a fusion form, but it’s incredibly unstable. Elanor doesn’t like using it since it forces their consciousness to merge again, and there’s no guarantee they wouldn’t get stuck. #ellielore
None of them are the type for pick-up lines, but they each have their own way of provoking a reaction from the others...
... with varying degrees of questionable success. 💀
#ellielore
She cuts her hair in the dark with a knife when Dilara isn’t around to do it for her. Not only would she never judge anyone’s hair, she probably wouldn’t even notice unless it was a drastic change. Even then, no comment. What you do with yourself is none of her business. #ellielore
have this very old pre-DT comic of the only woman who has ever managed to turn Elanor into a puddle to this day 🫠 #ellielore
I love sharing their first encounter! [1/2]
Definitely not love at first sight. At that point, they’re walking entirely different paths. Elanor is at her lowest after StB, barely keeping herself together after spending the entire war with Fray’s already fractured mind echoing in her own. #ellielore
"I spent most of my life believing I was someone else’s weapon. That obedience was survival. But no one ever commanded me. Not really. It was always my hand on the hilt, my choice. And every time, I chose death." #ellielore
Gridania was her birthplace and home through her youth; at eighteen, she departed for Ul'dah, where she has remained since. [If asked where she is from, she would name the latter.] #ellielore
To answer with my own, it kinda depends. Each of them has their own way of handling the loss or hurt of a loved one depending on who it is. "I’ll avenge you" being the softer "destructive" response where they’d go after whoever caused the harm, but stop there instead of escalating. #ellielore
Elanor’s nightmares manifest as realms she can get trapped in, so they can be really rough. Her PTSD makes it worse, she can wake not knowing she’s escaped, screaming, flailing, even reaching for a weapon. The episodes are, sadly, only worsening. #ellielore
It’s a small difference, but Fray only notices once it’s used against them. And obviously, they’re outraged at the unfairness of it... #ellielore
Oh boy, do I 😂
They don't have a "name" other than me labelling it as elasre for easy finding purposes. But.
7 years since I paired 'em and counting 💪 #ellielore
clean, functional and versatile. Polished steel/bronze, muted tones and a consistent utilitarian look. No frills unless it's part of her formal attire. Dark blues and earthy browns are her favorite colors.

2 Personal Everyday

Assuming they are strangers and the task absolutely needs doing, she waits for them to eat shit/die and then steps in to deal with it herself.
Cannot stress enough just how much contempt Elanor has for idiots that think themselves stronger than they actually are. #ellielore
Elanor: A true medieval peasant. Completely disconnected from technology and gets frustrated when it’s unavoidable.
Yahsre: Prefers simplicity, yet his constant pursuit of knowledge drives him to understand the workings of everything around him eventually.
Fray: iPad baby. 💀 #ellielore
Elanor has a thing for seeing Fray and Yahsre being sweet to each other, and Fray picked up on it instantly. Since she’s also hopeless at handling/seeing PDA, it’s an easy way to fluster her.

Congrats to Ul’dah for pulling the "WoL is contractually ours" card. Everywhere else? Not her problem. Relocate Hybris, then back to killing. #ellielore
🔴Fray: Sparrow
🟣Yahsre: Sinner
#ellielore
Elanor is incredibly paranoid even if she doesn't show it. Her idea of a bedtime routine? Map the exits, mark the blind spots, sit with her back to the wall and eyes to the doors/windows. She pretends she’s fine alone, but she’d probably sleep better with someone next to her. #ellielore
It’s easy to condemn the cruel system Eulmore upheld during the Flood. But for someone like Yahsre, who grew up under it, feelings are more complicated. After all, Eulmore once stood against the sin eaters, before Vauthry became mayor and turned the city into an indulgent nightmare. 🧵 #ellielore
I’ve already mentioned that she has a daughter, but here’s an old pre-DT comic about her worries while she was still carrying. I’ve got a bunch of these reflections, she really struggled with the idea of becoming a mother. The impostor syndrome was hitting hard back then. Still is... #ellielore
Imagine enduring constant pain. Stabbed, crushed, burned, bleeding buckets worth year after year. Yet a cruel, excruciating "gift" ensures none of it will ever show for others to know. There aren't many ways to cope. Elanor simply chose to embrace the pain and enjoy it. Might as well. #ellielore
