I meant to do more with this and it ended up causing me a bit of uncertainty when I realized the painting was basically complete already. It was supposed to be a chance to explore the play between abstraction and representation in my work and it still does that, but not in the way I thought it would. It’s so much like looking at an abstract painting, but it’s not one. Also I’m not sure it comes across digitally; it might be a job for Studio 6.
