Two hoodoos appear prominently in this photo, with the one at right being biggest and closest to the camera. Its base is light-colored sandstone and it's capped by a darker, flattened boulder of ironstone. The rock feature at left has a similar construction but its cap is tilted to one side and more overlapping. The grayscale sky is featureless.

A fine pair of hoodoos below the rimrock. What makes them fine? They hold their silence.
