FWIW, and imo, #Sharpie brand, for however fabulous it is with their permanent markers, has not produced a remotely acceptable gel pen. Short version: they suck.

PRO: These highlighters don't smear (Pentel #EnerGel Kuro)

CONS: too lightweight, these probably won't last long. The plastic casing feels cheap.

They make a scratching sound against the paper when in use.

The cap doesn't fit securely. No satisfying 'click.'

Some are saturated, some are not.
