Any #eprdctn folks here? DAISY best practice for video in EPUB is to put the transcript in <details> element, but details is a known problem in several RS (always open in some; can’t open in others). So what’s best way to handle? Hyperlink like is used for long descriptions? Other suggestions?

I found out this morning that self-publishing types can use Canva to create EPUBs. They are the most gruesome, inaccessible, and dysfunctional EPUBs that I've ever seen. 0/10 would not recommend. #eprdctn

#Canva has just made #Affinity one single app.
Well, many issues are to assess:

I’ve been reviewing a lot of EPUBs for publishers lately and have noticed some themes. If making digital content is part of what you do, maybe you’ll find it useful. #a11y #eprdctn laurabrady.ca/blog/ebook-a...
Reading Order Tools panel showing buttons in two categories. Reading Order category has Auto define reading order, Manually define reading order, Amend or clear reading order, Set markers visibility. Region Navigation category has List reading order objects, Make panel from selected rows, Create page panel mask, Preview panels, Delete panels and panel masks.
Reading order is as important as image description for #a11y.
For InDesign #eprdctn users, Circular Software has you covered.
What’s more absurd, countless articles wondering if CBS moving on from Colbert is political(he’s highest rated in his slot, only one to grow in viewership the previous quarter) or the salary for this #eprdctn position requiring a good bit of technical knowledge? jobs.up.hcommons.org/job/virginia...
