Panel 1: Montgomery and Clifford get to an end of their forest path and see a tree, the tiny dog guesses, "Oh! Is that tree the entrance?" You probably have seen pictures of Monty dressed like this and other sneakpeaks from Chapter 2, but I wanted to go ahead and make a venn diagram of the differences cause I want to emphasize that while they are similar, they are basically two different puppy dogs #escapadescomic

Charles stampeding "NO!! anything but kitty!!"

Charles punches the spider square in it's center, immediately tearing it's abdomen while it's blood and guts spray out. As he stands over the spider queens' corpse, covered in guts, he notices his Spirit Sword starter that he didn't use with a sort of contempt and intimidation.

"Aaaaand, goodbye guts!" Cassandra uses her wind to get all the nasty spider guts off Charles who grunts with disgust. "You know that would've been easier with Spirit Sword" she teases to Charles, who turns around with a grunt "I did it MY way"

"I did it MY way. I saw the target and took it out." He says walking away from her, to which she chimes in "Whaaa? Did you even get all the eggs?" Charles turns around flustered, "are you kidding me? YES all of the eggs!" to which she replies, "Oh c'mon, I'm just joking! Kiiiiiittty!" this absolutely annoys Charles, to which he begs "NO! Anything but kitty!!!!"

The spider queen emerges from the ceiling and hissing, Cassandra calls out "She's here!" before facing off with her

The spider queen attacks, which Cassandra blocks with her umbrella. She then narrowly avoids a claw to the neck before having to shuffle very quickly to avoid the onslaught of attacks, before finding the right opportunity to ready a kick

She kicks the spider queen square in the face, crushing a good part of it and using her wind to kick as well. She calls out to Charles "Get to the entrance for a collision!" He replies "on it!" before Cassandra gathers all the wind/air nearby "My wind sent you flying- now to use all the air in here to throw you out!" she exclaims

"Get 'er, tiger!" Cassandra yells to Charles who yells back, "Don't call me that!" as Cassandra uses her wind to funnel the spider towards the exit, while Charles braces for an elastic collision

Charles jumps high to release a barrage of punches, decimating them all

Cassandra is fighting off her own share of spiderlings, as Charles lands from his attack he exclaims, “Cassandra, how are you holding up?”, to which Cassandra, who's spinning her umbrella replies “no sweat, Charles!”

She's spinning it more and more until she smashes one that explodes, to which she is in slight disgust before asking Charles, “didn't your old man say that this was a new nest?”

A recent flashback of Charles and Cassandra observing a portable video communicating device with a mysterious figure on it, who exclaims “Yup yup! A level 5 spider queen hazard has made a nest outside the city! And you two gotta get it!”, the two agree with a “Yes sir!” Before we get a zoom in on Charles’ fathers happy face exclaiming “Then hop to it!”

ESCAPADES IS FINALLY HERE! CHAPTER ONE IS DONE! After years and years of saying "I'm going to" I have finally finished the first chapter of Escapades. There's a lot more to draw, but now after this chapter one/pilot chapter, I CAN DO IT!!!
