Aqui eu dei um grito porque de tudo que eu tenho lido é que as Euglossa são abelhas solitárias, porém acabo de encontrar quatro ou cinco circulando aqui pelo urucum.

“Oh that tongue!” #Orchid #bees ( #Euglossini) #Euglossa sp. have an incredible long proboscis (some longer than their bodies! -Yup!) to draw nectar from long tubular flowers. Bees like this were common on a trail at La Universidad Regional Amazónica-#IKIAM, near #Tena, #Ecuador #Hymenoptera
