I got some cool pattern inspiration for some textile designs after seeing the #ExquisiteCreatures exhibit at #OMSI in Portland last weekend! I also saw this frill necked lizard which I did an elementary school project about as a kid (I wish I still had that drawing I did of one!)

Artist Christopher Marley uses his preserved specimens like a glorious box of paints or pieces of glass or tile to make mosaics of nature's beauty. They truly are wondrous, and I recommend a visit if this exhibit comes to your town. Thanks for coming along for my photo tour!
