I accidentally snapped my weft and had to start over but actually it’s looking much better this time.

I learned to keep some weft loops at the ends of each row and then manually tighten them— much more consistent tension this way!

I finished crocheting this blanket today.

“Nana’s Dresser,” a design by Abi Mclntyre. Mosaic overlay technique.

I used Red Heart, super saver yarn, Latte Stripe & Arran. 5:00 mm crochet hook for the body of the blanket, and 4:00 mm hook for the double border.

I will probably never totally stop working on this; I’ll be collecting pins & patches for probably years to come. But! For the time being, my punk-inspired "battle vest" for 90s Disney cartoon Mighty Ducks: The Animated Series is done! I’m very proud of it. :D
