My maternal GGM was burned at the stake in 1654 for supposedly being a witch. My wife’s maternal GGF, Roger Toothaker was jailed for supposedly being a witch and died in custody. He was a physician. #witchcraft #england #shesawitch #hysteria #17thcentury #genealogy #famikyhistory
