Nothing twists my knickers more than US strawberries in Canadian grocery stores in June.

A six-pack of Strawberry Rhubarb muffins and a six-pack of AnnaMae's raspberry tarts (both bought at Herrle's) . A pack of frozen bison burgers and a punnet of strawberries (both from Oakridge Acres).

When an upcoming column is on farm shops, I can't help but pick up locally-grown and -produced food. Today was Herrles (St. Agatha) and Oakridge Acres (Ayr)...and yes, those are Annamae's raspberry tarts.
