#Fedora42 で dnf update をかけたら #MariaDB の起動に失敗するようになった。どうも MariaDB 10.11.15 にアップデートすると現象が発生するようで、dnf downgrade mariadb で 10.11.11 にダウングレードすると問題なく動作する。
原因は今のところ不明。
当面は 10.11.11 で使用することにしよう。

I have #Fedora42 #Gnome on older desktop machines, but a week ago I tried #AlmaLinux10 Gnome on my not-as-old laptop. I liked it in testing, so I installed it.
It will be actively supported until May 2030 and receive security updates until May 2030. It might be a more stable option to look into.

Strange. Tried out the new Cosmic spin of #fedora42 and it just wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi. Kept rejecting my password. Switched to KDE Plasma Mobile and it worked fine. Odd that the DE would cause errors like that.
