From a tech aspect, #FFXIVMobile is an Unreal Engine 4 game, as I would have guessed from a Tencent subsidiary game. So, next time you wonder "why can they do that cool feature and the base game can't?", the answer is simple: it's literally not the same game, and they rebuilt the entire thing.

FATEs are there, and they work exactly how you would expect. #FFXIVMobile

I must admit, I genuinely enjoy some of the QoL features though. I'm literally 10 minutes in and the game would already unlock a flying mount to auto-travel to your next objective. This should make some of the ARR filler slog a bit more tolerable. #FFXIVMobile
