#ffxivhcs talking again about how i think folks from the shroud are a lot more comfortable w bare skin bc of how stuffy the climate can be but also because nudity is a lot less sexualized there bc its Natural. i like to think that its pretty acceptable for anyone to go around topless in the shroud

#ffxivhcs i have about elezen and lalafell babies is that they droopy ears that arent able to be held at their normal positions until like age 3+ because their ears are very large compared to their head and equally heavy and it takes so long for those muscles to strengthen enough

since were on the topic actually my #ffxivhcs that are kinda supported by lore is that bard song works by manipulating dynamis (implied or whatever imo) but my thoughts on the way this works is that bard songs are basically spells that evoke a very specific and powerful emotion (from the writer!)

anyways my #ffxivhcs about cooking in ishgard is that between nobility and commonfolk, there was a larger divide in cuisine style before the calamity. now that the whole coerthas is frozen over, one cant afford to be TOO picky but a sentiment that remains is that onions are lower class vegetables

this is related to my duskwight lips hc but #ffxivhcs the guys in ffxiv-verse that have desaturated skintones have pigments that accumulate in their nails which gives them naturally black nails (assigned goth at birth). when i draw shrimpy and chic'tan w black nails those arent painted! #shrimpverse

reposting this.. in my head duskwight have unique lips. dark upper lips that look like theyre wearing black lipstick and "blue" lower lips that look kinda cyanotic, which enhances their corpse-ish vibes.. i think they should have vampire energy

a comparison of ear shapes of seeker and keepers! seekers have wider ears that are good at temperature regulation with longer, fluffier fur while keepers have longer ears with sleek, short fur. seeker ears are modeled by g'raha and keeper ears are modeled by zhloe

a couple drawings explaining the alternative eye markings of keepers of the moon in my wolverse! seeker miqo'te tear marks work like cheetah markings that protect them from the sun's glare, this adaptation is suitable for diurnal seekers and are modeled by x'rhun and g'raha because keepers are nocturnal, they aren't affected by the sun's glare and markings are allowed to diversify. markings like those on cloud leopard eyes are modeled by my wol chic'tan (shrim is in the back blushing because the markings look like jester eye makeup). markings like the dark lining of wolf eyes are modeled on my oc chic'sae. finally, no eye marks at all is modeled by the npc zhai'a

reposting some personal thoughts on miqo'te eye markings here. i think that keepers and seekers should have different eye markings....

my #ffxivhcs about keeper beauty standards… i think femininity is very desirable in keeper society male keepers are soooo attractive if theyre also feminine but keeper femininity also isnt 1-1 with how we perceive femininity

here are my #ffxivhcs about healing magic... the canon lore about how healing magic works is that it redirects aether to heal damage that your body can naturally heal. in my brain there are also some addendums... healing magic can leave: scars, nerve damage, and chronic pain
