Where can you take a class in #spinning, #Saori #weaving, and woven garment making? Saori Santa Cruz, that’s where! Jill’s studio is nestled in the redwoods of #Felton, CA, & a visit is a magical experience.

The 6 different colored stones are needlefelted with Velcro sewn to them so they attach to the glove. Day 25~Handmade Gift
When my nephew turned 4 in ‘21 I made him something special. He was into superheroes so I #felted & #stitched him Tony Stark’s infinity stone gauntlet. He had to search the #gardens for each stone (Velcroed to the knuckles)…(1/2)

In 2018 I entered my #nuno and #needlefelted fandom log & eyemoss into the SC Co. Fair. They gave it a special award for creativity. 🥳 I will #felt more but currently the log is empty as these creatures have all been adopted.

Day 23~Self Care
Self care typically looks like me snuggling w/ Sierra or spinning w/ friends. Today at the monthly Grange breakfast I took my wheel & enjoyed catching up with friends over breakfast, #spinning w/ Chris, & enjoying the live music.

Day 22~On The Road
This intrepid crew’s fiber adventures began in Dec ‘22 with a trip to Morro Bay and Morro Fleeceworks to process our fleeces. We miss dear Helen who passed last year, but she lives in our memories and passion for fiber and friendships.

Day 20: Fiber Friends
My second train trip spindling with a view....to Reno to celebrate my mom's 86th birthday. First time was with Fiber Friends Susan and Chris. Third will be a return to Black Sheep...later maybe a three-day trek across the country!

Day 19~Wear it Wednesday
Let me take you back to the summer of 2019 & Con of Thrones in Nashville. I had taken a CNCH workshop on #felting fabric to sew into a garment & made my bodice for my Weirwood #cosplay. I’m also wearing my #nuno-felted green wrap.

Day 18~Twos Day
Meet Dottie & Daisy our #Wensleydale x #Romney 11 yr old #sheep. We adopted them at 6 mo old along w/ their mommas. I have been #dyeing, #felting, & #spinning their glorious #wool for a long time now & selling fiber at local events. I 🥰 & appreciate them.
