The first review of #fireandfurybook is out. metro.co.uk/2018/01/08/man-overdoses...
6. What most characterizes #fireandfurybook is delusion and myopia within all GOP parties, from the establishment to Bannon to Trump himself.
Especially Bannon - if he thinks this doesn't hurt him to some extent he's in for a BIG surprise.
What's very telling is that Cambridge Analytica has not come up yet with regards to Bannon, because that's the Russian side of the story that links Kushner AND Bannon. Very telling that Bannon would put this much in and that juicy piece remains out. #fireandfurybook
At this point of the book even Bannon thinks it's over and that Mueller will roll over everyone. He'll never admit it, but getting pushed out the WH was everything he wanted.

I'm moving past this being 'Bannon had his finger on the scale' and more of 'Bannon knew EXACTLY how something like this was to be received and he knows he can use chaos to his advantage'.
Keep this VERY much in mind when reading #fireandfurybook.
I don't know whether or not #fireandfurybook is accurate on Bannon's deeply set, borderline apocryphal Catholic angst, but MY GOD it's hilarious to read.
If you're paying attention to anything in #fireandfurybook, note how often David Bossie is mentioned. He's a quiet figure, but he's been around since Ken Starr's investigation in the 90s and he helped run Citizens United. He matters, though he'd take great pains to say otherwise.
I'll say this for #fireandfurybook, the ironic juxtapositions it stages are masterful. You have the Mercers eating lunch in an atrium only steps away from Richard Spencer railing against WASP-culture for his neo-Nazi movement. It's really quite striking.
Reading about Bannon is goddamn fascinating, because the guy is dangerously smart and he gets the power of disruption and trolling better than I think #fireandfurybook can really explain.
And yet he's undone by disorganization more often than most. THE IRONY.
There's a whole chapter on Bannon.
GG comes up - because of course it does. #fireandfurybook
So I'm reading #fireandfurybook because of course I am...
A lot of it feels like watching @KeithOlbermann's #TheResistance months back, but a better subtitle for this book would be 'The Anti-Gaslighting'. It's a wonderful and yet absolutely horrifying reminder you're still sane.
Really excited to start #FireAndFuryBook . Thinking I should send one to @SenDeanHeller. Maybe he'll start distancing himself from the #LiarInChief and realize he is hurting Nevadans.
ICYMI one of the great FREE resources to get your Shakespeare on during #BombCyclone ❄️💨 from @MIT
It’s always a good time for a little #soundandfury #macbeth as a second screen 📺 for reading #fireandfurybook

I think I might have to read in small bites.
