NYC should help Chinatown go full pedestrianization for the month of Lunar New Year at the very least. It's more like Christmas than your average single day holiday. They have 9 days off in Taiwan this year for example.

I lived for awhile in this district. Marte acts like a comfortable homeowning soho nimby who’s got it good and wants to prevent change rather than make change. Why can’t we #fixcanal street for seniors? Pedestrianize Fidi? Build new housing in one of the densest built areas of the world?
